Catherine Harper became involved in the ‘nature of making in a public practice’ during the mid-1990s. The 1970’s restarted a large interest in quilts and quilt making. MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, 1944. 1944 Education Act (Butler Act). The Phulkari does not have embroidery all over the surface, but it has motifs distributed over the surface revealing parts of the background material. Other than that, it has lasted just as long as any of the shirts I've screen printed using water colour inks or plastisol inks.

Tell that to my jeans! ;) It is water based, but it cures AND dries.
