The public health policy of my government talks about women's health and about occupational health as separate entities with no overlap.

But the fact that these problems have persisted for a half-century is not a cause for despair—major heartburn will do—because we now have a much clearer picture of the problem, and there are more of us carrying on the struggle. With books like these in our armamentarium, we have a strong tactical advantage, as well. Now we need to maintain the momentum to go on.
