Until these arguments can be resolved, major resource wastage is likely to occur. Clearly this example has been made simple for illustrative purposes. However, we suggest it is sufficiently realistic to demonstrate the point that it would be unwise to take at face value any set of “organisational objectives” which purport to represent all stakeholders and to aid decision making in all contexts.
